2.04ct Fancy Light Yellow VS2 Cushion Cut Diamond
The plot itself makes it look like there are scads of little feathers. In fact they are so very tiny, and insignificant, that all together they rate VS2. Each one is microscopic. And they are all on the pavilion - totally invisible when looking through the top with a loupe. Even under close scrutiny of the pavilion, it's all but impossible to locate each of these feathers, or any of them. Conversely, there are VS2 diamonds with a single carbon crystal dead center that is a tiny speck on the clarity plot, yet you can see it naked eye.
If you are looking at actual diamonds, this one, which looks like an Internally Flawless, is the winner, but if you're looking at GIA plots, that one would "seem" better. Anyway, it's totally eye clean. Also really nicely cut. A bright and even scintillation pattern.
The stone is visually square. It is totally a yellow diamond and is cut like you would cut a Fancy Light Yellow, or other Fancy Colored Diamond. In that regard, color, it is very close to a Fancy Light Yellow - a pretty shade. Y-Z is a great and affordable alternative to Fancy Light Yellow- to say nothing of Fancy, or Fancy Intense Yellow. Plus, many people prefer the shade.
