1.07ct W-X/VVS2 Branded DBL Modern Antique Cushion Cut Three Stone Diamond Ring
Here is a very important aspect of a diamond's color, that's rarely talked about.
How does it look?
I mean to say - a lot of people make judgments on a given diamond's attributes based on a few letters, and numbers. It really makes sense to give more consideration to how a given color or color range looks on any given diamond.
In the case of a diamond with a body color of W-X Range, Natural Light Yellow, there is a wide range of colors we can perceive from the face up position.
For example, if it is a Modern Round Brilliant, it is generally not going to look nearly as yellow as a modified cushion brilliant, or radiant cut.
In the case of Old Mine Brilliant diamonds, most are more similar to the round brilliant in their "color performance"
This diamond is a great example of how yellow a W-X can show from its face. Once we set this stone it's going to take on a lot more color.
There is still quite a bit of bright reflections coming off the top of this diamond - mixed with the yellow. The large facets give it a glittery type of sparkle.
In the photos below, you can see what appears to be a tiny black speck in the center of the diamond.
That's dust.
Even in these hi res close up shots, a VVS1 sized imperfection is way smaller than that.
The Ring
Here is a lovely, if not somewhat unorthodox, combination. I love the contrast - and it goes along with the personality of the DBL branded cushions.
The design and workmanship of our "Uber" rings is unsurpassed, anywhere. From any shop.
The setting really helps to bring out the yellow in the stone - the result is simply stunning.
If you like the ring in these photos, you will love it in person - we guarantee it!
The photos above are ACTUAL Photos of the diamond ring that you will receive.
