Oh My Goodness! This one ticks all the boxes!!
Normally, cut is my first consideration... but with a Fancy Color diamond, the color comes first.
One of the problems with most yellow lab diamonds is that they're just too dark. In this case, IGI's sometime wonky color grading got it spot on IMO.
The stone isn't "Vivid." It's a lovely "normal" Fancy Yellow. That, in itself, is very rare.
Combine that with a great overall shape. The "Marquise Modified Brilliant" cut designation (again, hats off to IGI for getting the details right) adds a few "skirt facets below the girdle.
They cause the light to bounce around, totally avoiding any sort of "bow tie"
Just a lovely diamond. I was envisioning it between a pair of colorless trills... what say you?
