We have a guy who finds all sorts of old diamonds and jewelry.
This came out of a piece form the 1960's (I believe)
They don't cut stones this way anymore.
Which is a great shame, because it looks amazing in person.
Plus you'd easily confuse it with a modern 1ct diamond, in terms of size.
Tons of flashy sparkle, even in dim lighting.
I graded the diamond - there's no GIA report.
The color is a faint brown. The color is not obvious... slightly blushy. A tiny hint of pink?
I also graded her I1, but the diamond is eye clean. A great value.
