This stone attracted me for a number of reasons.

First of all the color - it's a lighter brown. There's no orange, but a lot of buttery soft brown shades.

This combines with the other first thing- the cut - so unusual.

It's deeper than a "normal" round brilliant, and it has a different sort of look.
