There's been a lot of discussion online about "leakage"
I used a red sheet of paper in the video to demonstrate how this diamond does not allow light to pass straight through.
Not that if it did, that would necessarily mean it's a "bad" diamond. There are some cuts where a bit of transparency is desirable- or expected.
Furthermore, it took effort to cut this diamond in a manner so that there is minimal leakage. It gives a lot of fire - large bright flashes abound.
The one tiny area where you can see right through the diamond is is teeny tiny culet. Charming actually.
The diamond was graded by GIA. It was grown CVD. It's perfectly colorless - and perfectly transparent as a the best natural diamond.
Strictly graded VS1 clarity- totally eye clean.
All this adds up to a premium stone.
Not the cheapest on the market by any means, But there's none better.
