We all know what the traditional round brilliant looks like. To help you see the difference, I've posted a photo of a very well cut round in the photo above.

It's very....brilliant.

Compare that to the photos of the stone in this listing. Both stones are classified as "Round Brilliant" by GIA- yet the one for sale here, shown below- has much shorter "Arrows" in the center.

I can see why GIA classified this as a "Round Brilliant". The main ingredients are surely there, but a few major detail differences give this diamond a totally different personality. As opposed to the many, smaller flashes of the modern well cut round brilliant, this diamond has larger flashes- chunky, if you will.

When I first looked at it, I thought it was an old mine cut.

Perhaps it is an authentic older cut- somewhat transitional in nature. or a modern cutter was going for a vintage look. Either way ,it's bokoo cool by me. Especially at this price.

An ultra light brown. Will this stone look good in pink? Could be....
