When I first saw this diamond, I guessed it was "Fancy light Yellow"- I called it a Y-Z- to be on the safe side. I was taken aback when I saw the grade GIA gave the diamond.
Looking at it again- I suppose I can see slight traces of Brown and Green- I love the color. I loved it from the first second I saw it, and the grade does not change that- but it's interesting for sure!
Plus, I had not anticipated an intensity of "Fancy". That's a big plus.
Daussi cushions have a fairly distinct personality, and it comes through in the photos. The facets are generally pretty large, giving an extremely "chunky" type of flash. They have a lot of glitter- in some way s similar to an emerald cut, but not. The ring is just beautiful and has great presence on the hand.
The contrast between the Fancy Colored Center Diamond, and the side diamonds is stark.
The ring is stout- built for the long run.
